Khewra is known as Mayo Salt Mine in the honor of the Lord Mayo. The city is located 200 km from Islamabad and 245 km  from Lahore city and 190 km from Faisalabad. Motorway is the best option to use whenever you are going from these three main cities like Islamabad , Faisalabad and Lahore.
